Very ornate carved wood and scroll work balances the beauty of this queen size canopy bed. The natural wood finish on the headboard and footboard is accented with striking black metal scrolls surrounded by woven fabric in the sweeping arch as well as a flower burst at the top of the headboard and the bottom of the footboard. The carved wood posts rise to support a curling metal canopy that fasten with metal bands. Side rails join to complete the bed. The headboard is 83 inches and the footboard is 83 inches. Featured here is a marvelous Northern White Cedar Queen Canopy Bed. This luxurious bed measures 82 inches long x 64 inches wide x 80 inches high. The cedar weighs in at a sturdy 185 pounds. This bed is priced complete with a headboard, footboard, side rails and a metal support system. The bed has been designed with four cedar log bed posts that support its canopy style. The headboard and footboard have been crafted with double horizontal cross beams of circular cedar logs that are interspersed with straight vertical log pillars. Adding to the distinctive look of this bed, this design is repeated near the top of the bed, but crafted in a smaller scale. This distinctive piece will add warmth and charm to your home or retreat. Mattress, box springs and all accessories are not included. Some assembly is required. Double Canopy Bed is pictured. Queen size not shown. This furniture is constructed from solid cedar, which is naturally resistant to decay and insect damage. As will all log furniture, it is subject to the natural process of checking, which occurs as the wood releases moisture, and normally happens across or through the annual growth rings. All unfinished pieces will weather gently to an attractive gray color. If you prefer the ripe wood color, these pieces can painted, stained or lacquered to prevent the natural color change.
